Cows milk?!

Sooo our babes are almost a year old!! I can’t believe it! We want to transition to cows milk at a year old but I don’t know how many times a day I should give my daughter milk. Right now she is getting a 6oz bottle of formula in the morning and before bed. I still want to keep the bottle of milk before bed but how many times a day and how much do you plan to give you babe? I don’t want to overload her with it! Thanks!!

My baby turns one in a week exactly, and he’s almost fully transitioned to cows milk 
He’s had whole fat milk in his cereal since 10 months, and at 11.5 months we started mixing milk with his formula, and on a whim we gave a full bottle of cows milk and he didn’t even mind it, he actually finished the bottle which he doesn’t do with his formula anymore so right now he has 2 out of 4 bottles with cows milk, and the rest formula, however we are on our last tub of formula and once it’s empty we aren’t buying anymore, so on his birthday he will be fully transitioned 
He drinks 5oz, 4 times a day but when he is  one we will try putting him down to 3 bottles/cups as he gets milk with his cereal and dairy else where throughout the day

Wish I had the right answer, we currently do a 6 oz bottle in the morning and before bed, and we offer cows milk in a straw sippy at lunch. He doesn't seem to want milk in the sippy cup. So I'm not sure how we'll move from here. I know after age one they recommend 16 oz a day and offered at meals. But my son just wants water with meals so I don't know what to do.

I'm planning on doing a half/half mix for a little while first. So morning bottle and afternoon bottle are half formula, half cows milk (going to keep bedtime bottle as just formula to start with). He'll have cows milk in his cereal, and after maybe a month(?) I'll start doing only milk as his afternoon one depending on how it goes 🤷‍♀️
I generally offer him water with meals and snacks, so I might start offering milk at snack times and stick with water for proper meal times.
