39+1 pregnant today 1cm dilated

Its alright. But, Im so disappointed that I will have an elective C section if theres no early signs of labor until March 4 (my 40th week) because my doctor will be leaving for an out of town trip.

What makes my feeling worse is that my family is kind of sounds blaming me for not ‘inducing’ myself naturally—- I didnt walk as much (but I bounce on my birthball without them knowing I have one inside my room) Can we just understand that my body isnt ready yet to give birth? Who wants to stay pregnant forever? Theyre also joke around about me giving birth in April or May since I do not have signs of labor yet. Im so annoyed and feeling so down.
