Am I mean

Am I mean for saying I don’t want to talk to my aunt? Three months ago I was going through some things and I didn’t feel like talking to her. She will blab information to strangers and other family members. Then she’ll twist words and make up some ridiculous story.

She’s nosy and doesn’t listen to boundaries. My mom says I’m not a nice person. Sure I can be a little blunt but that’s just me.

My mom says I’m mean for not talking to my aunt and that it hurt her sister’s feelings. My mother has sometimes said she didn’t want to talk to me and I didn’t get butthurt about it.

She thinks I should apologize to my aunt and I think I don’t need to apologize cause I didn’t say anything mean to her.
