How well does your toddler adjust to new people?

We took our son (2 1/2) to an indoor playground today...there was a lady that said something to her daughter about a picture she had just kissed, and my son thought she was asking him for a kiss I guess and he ran over to a complete stranger with his lips puckered up 😂  It’s safe to say he’s pretty comfortable with new people haha

My 1.5 year old daughter is really shy at first but after while she'll feel comfortable and will be more outgoing and friendly. Last week we were at a get together and she made me hold hands with a lady we just met 😭 I was so embarrassed! That is WAY out of my comfort zone lmao

Depends. If I’m around he’ll ignore them forever. If I’m gone he’ll be friends with them in about 5 minutes.

My son (3) can be very timid at first.  My daughter (1) is a little more outgoing.

Both my kids are very easy going with strangers. I attribute it to us being very active in church. They got handed around as babies bc everyone wanted to hold them, and then we dropped them off in the nursery for an hour during the service every week so they got very used to being taken care of by others.
