Sick at 37 weeks

Any of you ladies been sick so late in pregnancy? I haven’t gotten sick a single time this entire pregnancy, but last night my throat started to hurt. Woke up and yup, sure enough, I have a sore throat. Not coughing excessively or running a fever thankfully.

What medicines did you take? My doctor had given me a list of approved medicines and I didn’t see NyQuil on the list which is my go to! Been doing cough drops, orange juice, a hot bath, sprite, and hot tea instead of any medicine. The medicine on the list is all for decongestion rather than a sore throat.

Not sure if I should go see a doctor for medicine, or what to do. I’ve heard if you go into labor while sick then they’ll keep baby away from you, etc, so I wanna get better ASAP just in case even though I’m not due for another few weeks!
