Can BV cause me to miscarry?

I’m 5weeks and I think I’ve had it for maybe a week, I’ve only just realised that’s what it might be. I’ve had strong ammonia smelling clear/white discharge, I only thought bv had fishy smelling discharge, but apparently not. I don’t really have any other symptoms, maybe the occasional discomfort down there, but not constant. I’m going to see a doctor tomorrow, but I’m so scared it’s causing my baby damage. Especially when I’m not quite sure how long I’ve had it. I’ve read it can cause preterm birth and low birth weight, but what can it do when I’m this early? I’m freaking out, I’ve had a miscarriage before, I can’t lose another. Anyone had bv this early and the babies been okay?
