Too much baby gear?!

we had our shower a couple of weeks ago and we got soo much gear, i feel like it’s definitely too much, but as a FTM I don’t know what we should keep and what we should try and return! i feel like every item has its pros 🤷🏻‍♀️
we have: mamaroo, fisher price swing, 3 different bouncers, fisher price dome, fisher price sit me up seat, and a boppy lounger
any advice on which are must haves??

Keep the boppy lounger. I wish i had one- i could have really used it esp the first month. I do have the regular boppy pillow. U only need one bouncer. We bought a swing & baby likes it.

Agree with less is more. Keep 1 of the swings, whatever one is most compact or one that grows with baby (some turn into toddler chairs). If you travel a lot, a pack and play is more beneficial then the dome, s as the baby will outgrow that quickly. And we had the momaroo... neither of my kids loved it. We gave it away. Less is more!

I thought that I had too much at first. I would wait to see what works best for your baby. Everyone said to get a swing. My baby cries everytime we put her in it. She loves the lounger though. We also found that having multiple options when the baby is upset is great!

I’d keep the Fisher price Swing, one bouncer (especially if it’s the Babybjorn bouncer), the sit me up chair, and the Boppy Newborn Lounger. Return the Mamaroo, 2 bouncers, and FP dome. I’d buy a regular pack n play instead of the dome, and get a baby play gym for tummy and play time on the floor.

I definitely feel less is more when it comes to baby gear, with things like bouncers and swings, your baby will love it or hate it. One of our two best baby buys have been the stokke sleepi crib. It grows with your child and the stokke high chair again grows with your child. I mostly baby wear few the first few months. So I never really needed a swing. The angel care bath tub again a great buy.
