My temperature is low?

So yesterday medicaid sent me a thermometer in the mail. I guess they send "gifts" lol. So for shits and giggles, I took my temp. I'm 27 weeks pregnant and never had to take my temp the whole time I've been pregnant but I took it three times and it was 94.7° F. I used my old thermometer which I use for my bath water and it was also 94.7° F. I looked up online that anything lower than 95 is technically hypothermia.....like what? I feel fine...other than feeling like a whale...but is this normal?

If you drank anything cold within like 30 min, it might read lower. You would definitely know if its low

We’re you breathing through your mouth at all while taking it? Like if your nose is congested. That would throw it off

Unless it’s rectal I count it as being off. 🤷🏼‍♀️ unless anyone is shoving ice cubes up their ass. We get dumb readings like that all the time and it’s not hypothermia it’s just that they drank so working cold or it’s cold outside (temporally) there are a million different causes.

Guess it depends on what part of the body your taking it on. The most accurate is your butt. I usually do under the arm and then add a degree. You'd know if you were hypothermic 😂😂..

That’s definitely a bad thermometer! 😂 I guess it might have actually read like 96 or 98 but maybe the second Digit’s messed up so instead of a 6 or 8 it looked like a 4?
