She “TRAUMATIZED” by the name we love. HELP

My mom has been trying to convince me the name we’ve agreed for the baby is not usable. All because it reminds her of a bad situation from the past BUT IT DOESNT ADD UP

It goes like this...

in early 2000’s some woman confronted her lying about how my dad fathered her child and that he needs to step up. All lies. But my mom was still pretty annoyed with the woman obviously.

Years go by and she adds this guy on Facebook (named same name we love for baby) well he had this woman on his account and I guess she saw my moms account through this guys account and tried to stir shit up again.

I’ve been telling her that the guy is not relevant in the story but she insists that it is. I’d understand if it was like the name of the woman’s child she’s claiming is my fathers but just being a person linked to her? That’s kind of dumb in my opinion

Will she get over it when it’s her grandsons name? I don’t want to regret picking a name we don’t love over this.

But is it actually a dealbreaker? HELP
