Venting...

Ugh, I’m so annoyed with my boyfriend. I’m super busy this week due to finals and recently joining student government. He’s being so needy and making everything about him. If I didn’t love him, I would have disowned him by now. He made a big stink about me running into an old crush on the bus. I told him about it and that I don’t like him anymore, and if he reaches out to me I would let my boyfriend know and request we go on a double date. Because another old friend of mine from the same school hit on me, he said that he doesn’t trust this dude and is hurt that I reached out to him. He said because of that he should be able to hang out with an old crush of his from elementary school, which doesn’t exactly add up. He knows this girl has liked him in the past and liked her, whereas my old friend has turned me down and I know I’m not into him. I’m not going to say he can’t talk to this girl, but being retaliatory because I ran into someone on the bus is unfair and mean. Then he gets all upset at me because I said that I felt like he was being a hypocrite because he does a lot of the things he calls me out on. Now he’s acting like I’m the bad guy, even though I’ve worked out time to meet with him even though he’s being completely unreasonable. I get if his feelings are hurt, but rather than being confrontational about it he could have come from an emotional standpoint... However he always gets defensive and doesn’t acknowledge anything I call him out on. It’s infuriating. I’m running out of patience, please help.
