Bleeding after pelvic exam?!

Last Friday (7 days ago) I had a routine exam and Pap smear. During the exam the doctor ask when my last period was (I told her Feb. 18th) she said I’m having some bleeding which can happen during the exam and it’ll resolve in a couple days at most.

I’m now on day 7 (I have an appointment this morning already). The bleeding has been light to moderate, pink spotting, occasionally brighter, we’ll this morning I woke up an hour ago and it was bleeding a lot. And I’m having pretty bad cramps.

I’m not pregnant.

I haven’t had sex in about 2-3 weeks either.

I’m kind of freaking out... of course I was stupid and googled it and now I’m totally scared...

Has anyone experienced this?
