How long did your baby sleep in the same room as you?

Studies show it reduced the risk of sids for baby to be in the same room for the 1st year. My 1st we did 1 year my 2nd he is in his crib but he’s such a loud sleeper always babbling😂 so I sleep on guest bed in his room

With my first he did for about a year then my second did for 18 months almost (small apartment) then my third did for 3 months and I’m pregnant again and will probably share the room until we buy a house

4 months in a bassinet that attached to my bed and then he went into his own crib in his own room. He’s never slept in my bed, and never will .

Ours stayed in our room for two years. The recommendation in the US is at least 6 months, preferably a year as it reduces the risk of SIDS. One theory is that their breathing regulates to ours. We just so enjoyed having him in our room because he was a quiet sleeper and is so sunny & cute when he wakes up. Some kids are noisy sleepers & make it hard to sleep. In that case, we’d probably transition a lot earlier.
