Any tips?

My son is 22 months old. He wakes up around 7:00-7:30

I want to start waking up before him so I can get myself ready without stressing about him.

I need some tips on how to wake up early like 6:00. I know for some it’s not early but he still wakes up 1-3 times during the night so I don’t get a full night rest. I’m also 11 weeks pregnant so I’ve been sooo tired. I need tips on how to not dismiss my alarm clock and just wake up when he does. Because that’s not working with us. Also, coffee is off the table for me. I’ve been grossed out by it ever since becoming pregnant again. Thanks in advance.

Set your alarm clock on the other side of the room so you have to get up.

I think the first order of business would be to get kiddo to sleep through the night. That will make it easier for you to get up in the am. How is your bedtime routine? Is it consistent? Here is my routine- maybe something will be helpful- my kiddos are 22 months and 6 months old : We go upstairs at 630/7, bath if needed. Diapers/jammies. Play on my bed, read books, sing/snuggle. At 730 we take them to the bathroom to brush their teeth/gums. I put lavender essential oil on all of us. My partner makes lo a bottle and swaddles him. We turn on stars night lights and white noise in both of their rooms. Lo one gets bounced on the edge of the bed till he’s asleep and then put in his crib. I take my oldest in her room and rock her to sleep. They both sleep through the night most nights. Good luck hope this has helped. Trust me you’re going to want at least one sleeping through the night when little one gets here.

I wonder if he’s ready to drop his nap ? Every kid is different- maybe try a shortened nap time and see if he sleeps better through the night ? I’m sorry I’m not very helpful. I’m still trying to get my oldest to sleep later- ever since I brought her brother home she’s been getting up between 5 and 630, she used to sleep till 730-8 am

Yes he naps. Usually around 1-2 hours. We start his bedtime routine at 7 and he is in bed by 8-8:30.

That sounds like a great routine 😊 what time do you start? Does kiddo nap during the day?
