Is this normal during fertility treatment?
Hi all, I just went through my first month of fertility treatment. I’m 30 years old with somewhat low amh levels (1.2).
Anyways, in February my doctor prescribed me with 5mg of femara for days 3-7 of cycle. On day 12 I went back in for ultrasound and had 3 eggs developed. The biggest measured 23. Then it was time for the trigger shot (ovidrel). After waiting 2 weeks I took 2 pregnancy tests both came back negative which was crushing but staying positive!
The next day my period started and it was heavy right away. I’m now on day three of my cycle and am noticing a lot of clots. (Warning: Picture included). Is this normal?!?!
I also went in for my baseline ultrasound today and they said my uterus lining is measuring 8mm which is thicker than it should be. They had me do a blood test to check for pregnancy which doesn’t seem likely given the amount I’m bleeding. They also discovered I have a follicle already measuring 11mm which is not normal. I was told I could be producing more estrogen than normal and they will keep monitoring.
Any info helps!
Thanks!
