Circumcision any tips?

You guys I’m having trouble figuring out how to do it correctly ... I was told that i didn’t really have to give it any special attention.. and then I was told to put Vaseline but then someone else told me I was putting too much and that it needed to air out .. so then I tried maybe not putting Vaseline on it every single diaper change..???? So now it looks like their might be a blister and I can’t tell if it’s covering his pee hole or not... so hopefully he’ll pee for me by the time I wake from this nap or ima have to just take him to the doctor 😭😭 it’s weird to me that I changed his diaper and there was poo and no pee when he is ALWAYS peeing.

We didn't do the ring but the doctor told me to put vaseline on the diaper instead. She said it was mainly there so the sore didn't stick to the diaper.

I put vaseline onto a cotton wool pad and placed it over the head of the penis every nappy change.  I felt it would prevent the wound sticking to the nappy and was advised by the doctor that vaseline is fine and won't prevent healing.  If you're worried then contact the doctor but I think it sounds like normal healing as long as he does pee within next few hours.

I had to vaseline heavily for 2 weeks. After it’s healed make sure you pull the skin all the way back! My sons ended up reattaching twice and we had to take him to the ped to have a skin pulled back. He’s my first, I was so nervous about hurting him I didn’t think that I wasn’t pulling it back far enough.

We were told there’s no such thing as too much Vaseline in this case.

Lots of Vaseline. We put it inside the diaper where it would hit his little man parts vs on his actual man parts. My son bled a LOT for like 2 days but then was totally fine. We were just gentle with it, changed him often, lots of Vaseline and eventually he healed perfectly.

We had our son two weeks ago. Gauze with Vaseline until a scab starts to heal (they told us the 3rd day we could stop using gauze) then just lots of Vaseline. Our method was to slather Vaseline all over the front of inside his diaper. Once it’s back to “skin color” it’s healed who h for us was around his 1wk appointment and his ped said we were okay. 
Yes it will look funny. It’ll turn weird colors. I googled to see if his was healing right to be honest. They all looked gross and white from healing.
