Daniel chapter 2: 8-10, 19

8 The king answered and said, I know of certainty that ye would gain the time, because ye see the thing is gone from me.

9 But if ye will not make known unto me the dream, there is but one decree for you: for ye have prepared lying and corrupt words to speak before me, till the time be changed: therefore tell me the dream, and I shall know you can she me the interpretation thereof.

10 The Chaldeans answered before the king, and said, there is not a man upon the earth that can shew the kings matter: therefore there is no king, lord, nor ruler, that asked such things at any magician, or astrologer, or Chaldean.

19 Then was the secret revealed unto Daniel in a night vision. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven.

* So here in Daniel Chapter 2 the King of Babylon, Nebuchadnezzar has a dream. Because the king fears that his "wise" men will speak decietfully concerning this dreams he dont give them the information. Instead he says to them that they have to both tell him what he dreamt and what it means or else they will be killed. So, the chaldeans, astrologers and magicians tell the king that it is an impossible thing and he should just tell them the dream. Of course Nebuchadnezzar refused and sends out and decree for all the wise men to be killed. When the captain of the guard begin to gather all the wise men, among them was Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah. Daniel begin to question why the king was acting to harshly and when he found out why he requested of the king to give him Daniel and the other 3 Hebrew boys some time to seek God. And that night God made it know to Daniel. Now, Daniel did not get arrogant and boastful. But Daniel blessed God and gave the Lord are the Glory. We have to be like Daniel when God uses us to do a big thing.
