Best Lube for solo play?

So I used a packet of lube I got for free on campus (I think the brand is Wet) for masturbation and while it seemed to work well afterwards I was all gross and sticky so I went ahead and took a bath. Are there any lubes that you don’t have to wash off? I wanted to get some lube at a sex shop I was at recently but they mainly had flavored stuff which I figured isn’t really meant for masturbation (I mean I’m not THAT flexible). Does that even matter?
