Tetanus shot needed?

Is a tetanus shot needed for this small of a cut..I cut myself at work while slicing bread. The knife wasn’t clean but I was wearing latex gloves and the knife went through the glove. Well I’ve been told by my aunt who is a nurse that I need to get a tetanus shot now. But the cut is not deep plus i was wearing gloves. Is a tetanus shot necessary? Last time I had one I was 11 or 12 so it’s been over 10 years. 😕 Besides apparently I only have 48 hours to get the shot, and I cut myself yesterday.

It doesn’t matter if you were wearing gloves. It’s probably not a bad idea. But I probably wouldn’t? Only because I am a stubborn person.

It might be a good idea... however I wouldn’t get one for a small cut like that lol. I would just clean it really good and call it a day lol. But it takes a lot to get me to a doctors office or hospital lol

If you’re pregnant they don’t want to give you a tetanus shot until 26 weeks usually.

I had a small cut like that & I did not do anything to it I just cleaned it every so and kept the area clean and I’m fine and it was deeper than yours
