Would you be mad...?

I went out for a girls' night out last night so my husband watched our 8 month old and 3 year old sons. I came home to find little blonde hairs on our couch. I asked my husband why there were hairs on the couch and be said he trimmed our 3 year old son's hair.

I am very much attached to our kids' hair and our 3 year old son had the most gorgeous blonde "surfer guy" hairstyle. So, I was pretty mad. I asked him how much did he cut and why? He said he only cut about 1/2 and inch and said you and I agreed we should cut it.

I NEVER AGREED to cutting it. We did talk about maybe trimming it for the summer but it was never finalized.

It was late at night so I just went to bed angry. Now it's morning and I finally got to see the cut. And it honestly looks like a bowl cut. THAT IS THE 1 HAIRSTYLE MY HUSBAND AND I SAID WE WOULD NEVER DO ON OR KIDS.

I am behind pissed and I asked my husband what the heck he was thinking and his response was "it didn't look like that when I was cutting it while the hair was wet."

I am so mad and don't know how to handle this.

Am I overreacting?
