Menstrual cups

Kt

Help me!!! I’m barely 5ft 140lb. 2 Virginal birth. I’ve always used pads and tampons here and there but after having my second child, my period is so heavy and pads aren’t doing it for me. I don’t like worrying if I’m leaking and when I sleep, I wake up covered in blood 80% of the time. I was legit considering wearing adult diapers.

Anyway I believe I have low cervix because the reason I don’t use tampons often is the regular ones hurts when inserted and small tampons don’t hold up so I leak. TMI but when my husband fingers me he can touch my cervix and it’s very uncomfortable. Same feeling with tampons, I can insert it but once it’s in, I feel it touching my cervix.

So this time around I got Saalt cup at target. size regular which is recommended for after birth and for heavy flow. I can insert it fine, it does hold blood and doesn’t leak. I’m on my day 3 and I love the idea.

BUT. But! Every night I slept with it in, i don’t leak, though as I’m standing up I feel “tickle” and by the time I get to the bathroom my underwear is covered in blood. Other thing is the stem started annoying me. It rubs between my labia and if I push like kegal, the whole bottom comes out. So I took it out to reinsert and I push it as far as I can. It’s fine now but I feel like I’m intentionally holding it up. Like holding pee. And if I sit on the ground I can actually feel the cup inside. I feel like I could gone with the size small.? Idk. Help! And yes I have to take it out every time I use the bathroom because even when I urinate, the cup slowly moves down. And by the time I wipe, half the bottom is out. TMI but I held my fart in the first day using it cuz i was afraid I was gonna push it out lol am I just thinking too much?! I also feel the urge to pee constantly!!!!
