Blood vs pee test

My mom convinced me to test my blood instead of my pee on a test. I took a urine test on the 14th, the day after my period was supposed to end. It was negative.

I took the test with blood today and it was positive, but later (at 5:16, after already peeing once in the morning) I took a pee test and it was negative. When should I retest? Which test should I rely on? I’ve never tested my blood before. Is it accurate?

Edit: my mother is an RN and suggested this to me. Also quoted sources saying it is accurate since there would be more hormone in your blood than urine. And yes, I dripped my blood into the test lol.
