Menstrual cup for ttc??

Question

I've been researching ways to increase your chance of pregnancy and read that some women have gotten pregnant faster by inserting a menstrual cup after intercourse. The idea is to keep sperm close to your cervix when ovulation occurs. Has anyone done this? If so, how long after do you take the cup with sperm out?

I don't agree with the comment about infection. That would only occur if you left it in for 12+ hours 
 What I have read on the research that I made is that it does keep sperm near the cervix (that would normally fall out) and of course  the cervix fluid that assists with the sperm motility- transport deftly increases the chance as the sperm are still swimming - alive. My position (as well as gyno) is that it can't hurt if there is a motility issue or low sperm count. 
I am trying it for the 1st time this month I will definately keep you in the loop! I inserted it right after intercourse and leave it in for at least 4 hours.

It is a method used, when iui and there is a severe sperm mobility problem, and even then it is not a magic helper.
But otherwise useless. Sperm gets where it needs to in seconds, no cup can increase the chances.
