Anybody in Tucson AZ?

Question

I got a really good job offer there before all this corona thing, and I’m looking to move, I currently live in vermont and hate it. Of course if I did make the make the move it would be after this pandemic ends. The price of living seems so much cheaper compared to where I am in Vermont. Anyways I know the summers get out of control but other than that how do you guys like it there? I’ve been in the Phoenix area and havasu city but never Tucson, and if I were to seriously consider I’d go visit there of course.

Its actually not terrible during summers either. It's hot but it's that dry heat so it feels less hot than it really is if that makes sense. Humid heat makes you wanna die

Hey I live in Vermont now and I have lived in Tucson, too. The summers are actually horribly hot, and especially will be to you being that you're coming from Vermont, but you'll probably semi adjust. The summers there are not like summers here in VT. When its 100+ degrees outside, you're not just hanging out outside and you cant really do any outdoor recreational activities. But it is a really pretty desert and there's a lot to do and places to shop, etc. It is much, much larger than VT.. there's 500,000+ people there with a huge university. Personally, I love VT and would never leave. But I'm from Arizona so maybe that's why. The culture is way different, too btw and that's something you need to realize, along with the crime rates. I'm happy to answer any other questions you have
