Genital warts

Hey, guys! I have noticed warts on my labia a month ago. 2 weeks ago I went to the gyno and she confirmed that they were warts. Tests came back negative for HPV, but the gyno didn't explain why I got the warts in the first place. I'm using medication and it's not really working.

Has anyone had a similar experience? What else could cause genital warts without it being HPV?

I tried doing research, but it all brings me back to HPV being the reason.
