First time using Applicator free tampons

I recently bought some applicator free tampons, the organic ones by O.B.

I want to try them and see how they work for me because I like the idea of them being a little more eco friendly but I’m kinda nervous.

Are they uncomfortable to put in? If pulling out a tampon while it’s dry is uncomfortable/painful is it the same feeling while putting it in?

I have a pretty heavy flow and was wondering if it can be messy?
