Fever

My little guys has been working on teeth 5 & 6 for over a week now. He spiked a fever one day last week and slept most of the day. Yesterday and today he has maintained a constant fever. It was pretty high this morning (104+). Our regular doctor isn’t in today so we saw someone else at his recommendation. When they checked his temp 2x (different ways than I do) it said he was 99.8. I know better than that, he FEELS hot and LOOKS miserable. Overall his exam was ok and the only thing she saw out of the ordinary was his throat. She swabbed him for strep and flu- both came back negative. The culture for the strep will be done tomorrow sometime to see if anything grows on it. No cough, no green snot, no ear problems. He’s still eating a little bit of food and drinking his formula. I feel so bad for him 💔
