Baby boy will be here in a few hours 💕 *UPDATE*

Was due 3/23. Came to l&d that night with consistent contractions every 2 minutes but I wasn’t dilated. They decided to keep me for therapeutic rest and then monitor me. Once it was established that the contractions were consistent and strong, I was checked again. Only a fingertip dilated. They still admitted me thankfully 😭😫. Began the induction process 3/24. Currently 7-8 cm , waters have been broken, internal monitor placed and i ended up getting an epidural at 1 1/2 cm (pain of the foley balloon plus pitocin was just too strong) . Patiently waiting now 💕

Update :

Baby boy born on 3/25/2020 at 5:04 am via an emergency c section after 36 hours of labor. Baby had non reassuring heart tones and would not descend after hours and hours of productive contractions. During the c section , we found that his cord was looped twice around his shoulder preventing him from moving downward and he was in bad position. He came out healthy weighing 7 lbs 10 oz.
