Is referring the coronavirus as a conspiracy theory disrespectful?

Sorry about another coronavirus post but I have been thinking about this a lot lately. Do you think referring to the coronavirus as a conspiracy theory and something that is man made to kill people off disrespectful to the victims and families that are suffering from it?

I have seen countless posts on my Facebook feed saying not to trust the government and that because they are not releasing the names of the victims that this is all just a conspiracy theory.

Personally I believe it’s extremely disrespectful to refer to this pandemic as a conspiracy theory. People are dying everyday from this and families are suffering. Our economy is crashing as we speak. I don’t see why it’s seen as just some kind of government experiment and it’s in bad taste in my opinion. Obviously everyone is entitled to their own beliefs and thoughts but this definitely rubbed me the wrong way.
