Horizontal cut or vertical cut?

Hello all, I want to know that 22 months back I had first c-season and had a horizontal cut. Now I am going to have another c-session. My question is that I will get a cut in same place or I will get a vertical cut?

You should get a horizontal one in the same place as the old one. They cut away the scare tissue from the last one just make your scare a little bigger each time.The vertical ones are usually not used, only back in the day. I personally would asked to be sewed instead of stapled.

Horizontal. They will cut in the same area as the first. Mine actually cuts a little above and removed the old scar tissue. Vertical cut shouldn't be done unless something goes wrong and they need better access. It's very very hard to heal a vertical cut because it goes right through connective tissue and that doesn't have a very good blood supply

Same place I don’t think they do a vertical cut anymore unless for other reasons they have to. Everyone I know has had a horizontal cut my mom is the only person I know to have a vertical c section incision

I’ve had three and they cut horizontally in the same place each time.
