Do looks matter at all??

Just wondering everyone’s opinion on if looks matter. I’m wondering if physical attraction is required at all or if a persons personality can make up for it?

I have to be attracted to someone to spend my entire life with them. But attraction does change over time. I think my SO is a babe but his personality makes it so I will always think he’s attractive no matter how his looks change as we age.

I agree with others that physical attraction can change. I was initially not attracted to my husband, I honestly felt he was exact opposite of my type. I kept talking with him bc his personality and started to see him differently. It’s interesting how it changed. Now we’ve been together for over 12 years, I love him even through all the physical appearance changes that have happened over the years. He’s my soul mate!

Initially yes, if their personality sucks after the initial attraction, then the attraction is lost.

When I met my husband I wasn't attracted to him but once we got talking... He was so funny and I was so attracted to him. 
Physical looks only okay a part when you have to make a snap decision and you don't get the chance to talk to them.

i’m more attracted to personality just because the physical aspect of it doesn’t matter much to me. if they look good but have a terrible personality, it’s just not gonna work out
