Any toothless babies still left in this group?

My son just turned 9 months old on Thursday and still has no teeth. We’re still doing purées and I’m trying to give him some solids like pasta and fish. He’s still gagging with larger pieces like broccoli and potato wedges and sometimes chicken. What have you been feeding your toothless baby?

Still toothless here, but babies don’t need teeth to chew. Mine is eating pasta, fruits, veggies, crackers, etc. took some time, but he figured it out. The gagging/choking is completely normal. It’s scary at first, but baby will figure it out!

No teeth here but Lilah eats whatever we eat! She loves chicken, pickles, and Mac and cheese.

No teeth here either, he generally eats what we eat.  He loves and is great with meat, I cut it up pretty small for him or shredded.

I just came across this post from FeedIngLittles on IG

Sometimes I hold long pieces of food in his mouth to encourage him to gum the food instead of swallowing it whole.
