Ridiculous early ovulation

My last 2 cycles I've ovulated before CD9 confirmed with progesterone levels 17 and 21. 3rd IUI was cancelled bc i already ovulated by cd9 (based on LP i ovulated CD4 WTHECK).

So now doc says i need to do birth control to prolong ovulation to a normal day and injectables with IVF. She will not consider injectables with IUI for us. Problem though. We have no childcare for our 2 at home bc daycare closed due to a kid testing for Covid19. We have nk fsmily nearby and nk one can watch them bc our babysitter is in 14 day quarantine and county under shelter in place... Which means we cant do an egg retrieval bc i will have no ride. I want to try one more IUI before we tap into savings for IVF. I can drive myself to that.

Is it unreasonable to think the 3rd IUI might work. Im 37 hes 40 we have 2 and 1 mc 3 years ago and unable to get anything aside from chemicals since.
