Right decision?
I will be 37 weeks in a couple days. I am a nurse and decided to take my maternity leave a little over 3 weeks ahead due to COVID. My husband is in the airforce and they are laying him off work to minimize the risk of bringing it home to me so then he was pushing me to take my keave early just to be safe. I was very hesistant because I would want as much time as I can after the baby is born to spend time with him. Unfortunately, they made changes in the hospital where the possibility of me taking care of a PUI or positive is there, especially those patients that are not showing any symptoms at all but has it. I am happy to be isolated and get some good rest before I give birth but I don't know why part of me is still bothered about taking it way too early.
Did I make the right decision?
