Does position matter?

I am 25 with a soon to be 6 year old. Recently husband and I decided to try for baby #2! A little back story: when I got pregnant with my first, after sex I rolled halfway off the bed with my feet high in the air. Allowing the sperm to go as deep as possible. I was just wondering who thought this was coincidental or essential to getting pregnant again? Any similar stories out there??
