Moms with preeclampsia, when were you induced?
I had preeclampsia with my first baby. We didn’t know I had preeclampsia until I was 39 weeks. I had high blood pressure and I did a 24 hr urine around 35 weeks. My protein was elevated but not to the point of preeclampsia and they kinda just were like “ok your fine!” Then didn’t check it again until I was having a lot of issues with my blood pressure. As soon as they got my results, which my protein level was 300, they had me come in to be induced. Fast forward to this second pregnancy, my blood pressure has been fine up until my 32 week apt it was elevated. So I had to do the 24 hr urine. Just got the results today and my protein is elevated to 328, so I have preeclampsia again. I have my apt on Wednesday where we’ll be going over my care for the remainder of my pregnancy. I’m almost 35 weeks now. I’m just wondering if I should expect to be induced earlier since I developed it and we caught it earlier? Did some reading and a lot of what I found was a lot of providers will induce around 37 weeks to make sure mom and baby stay safe. I’m just wondering what everyone else’s experiences were, thanks. :)
