Anyone in the same boat?

I’ve taken opks in the past and I’ve always gotten positive ones when it was around that “time”, but I’ve only gotten the slippery cervical mucus a couple time and now I haven’t gotten it at all..in the past year but I’ve gotten positive opks. Is this preventing me from getting pregnant since I’m basically dry??

Potentially. In a dry environment, sperm can only live for a few hours, maybe a day, max. In order for them to survive long enough to get to the egg, and in order to reach it at all, they need a medium in which to swim. That’s your cervical fluid. How wet it is will tell you about how long sperm can survive:
Dry - a few hours
Sticky - up to 1-2 days
Creamy - 1-3 days
Eggwhite / Watery - up to 5 days

If you’re not producing sufficient cervical fluid, you likely won’t get pregnant easily.
