London as a girls name?

I’m still crazy early along but I’ve already started thinking names. Before I got pregnant I figured I had my names picked out for both genders. I was leaning towards Melody (doctor who reference) as the girls name. But I Pinterest kept showing me London pictures and I thought, you know, that could be cute. 
So, what do y’all think? London as a girls name? Boys name?

I like Melody way more. In my personal opinion, London is a bit tacky. Melody London, first and middle, would be cool though!
