Induction part 1 :update

So today I went in at 4pm to be induced. from the beginning it was horrible. They couldn’t get the IV in and blew out 3 of my veins (which are hard swollen and painful now :/) then they inserted the cytotech at 5; I was fully closed and my cervix was posterior. Since then the first I’d say 6 hours was pretty easy. Light cramping but nothing crazy. They’ve just inserted the 3 round of cytotech and I’m still only 1cm dilated 😭 but for the past hour I’ve been having some pretty painful contractions. I just feel like this is going to be a super long process

Update!!

Hello! Going good so far, no pain at all since the epidural. Had a few issues with the epidural causing her heart rate to drop but everything settled down and were just waiting for me to dilate more now. I feel great though and absolutely no pain. Gettin hungry though haha hope she doesn’t take all day so I can eat! Currently 3cm and fully thinned! Also got my water broke a few hours ago too!
