April baby turned March baby

Kenna

I was induced due to gestational hypertension. Induction was originally scheduled for 3/29 @ 7pm, but I got bumped.... TWICE. Finally on 3/30 at 7pm I was admitted for my induction. At about 9pm I was given Miso to begin cervical ripening. That was the only dose I was given. Three hours later they began giving me pain medication hourly (because it was only lasting 30ish minutes anyways). At 3am I was at 3cm and as the doctor was checking me my water broke, and I asked for my epidural. The epidural was placed by 4am. I could still feel my contractions through the epidural, however they weren't painful. By 7am I was given pitocin to help pick up contractions. At 11:54am, after 40 minutes of pushing, Rory Amelia was born. Weighing 8lbs 4.8oz, 20 3/4" long. And we discovered that my epidural was sliding out. Which is why I felt EVERYTHING in my vagina.
