Husband upset I don’t want to attend church services..
I live in NC, on Monday we were placed on a shelter in place order and it says that church’s are exempt but only if it’s no more than 10 people which our congregation is more than 10 but less than 50. But they said that they will still be assembling even under the order of the Governors mandate, because they said they can’t legally tell us that we can’t assemble. Most of our congregation our elders and which I believe they are still attending also.. I don’t want to go because of everything that is going on and plus we have a 15 month old daughter and I’m more worried about her well being than anything. We got in a little argument when he got off of work and was frustrated that we weren’t dressed for church.. I told him that I don’t think we should be going and that of course I want to go but we shouldn’t go.. I was getting upset because he seemed to only care about getting back to church rather than the safety of our daughter. He told me if he can go to work than we should still be able to to to church.. which is totally understandable but his job is considered essential so they don’t have to close during this but as for church’s it stated no more than 10 people... Idk what to do.. should we still be going?
Would also like to say that no one at our church is making us attend church or telling us that we need to. It is completely up to us.
