What should I do

Okay so my dad has been living with us for about 5 months. My husband wants to live alone with none of my family, he said ever since we got our own place my family has been always living with us . My dad is living with us because he just got out of jail. He has a job and gives us rent. He sleeps in the living room because we have a small two bed apt and two kids. What should I do? I feel bad for my dad but I understand my husband. Will if he hard for him to find a place having a felon?

Tell your dad to move out? It’s not really that complicated. If he’s working, he can support himself. You need to be able to focus on your own family, and I totally understand your husband

Me and my husband had this issue and it became a major issue between us. Finally after 7 years together we finally have a home that is just big enough for OUR FAMILY and things could not be better. Its very stressful having added people on ur marriage especially family. But like another comment said. If he is working and able to pay u rent. He should be able to find a one bedroom and pay his own rent. Just remember to communicate with your husband and figure this out together. Best of luck

I’ve never had an apartment ask my criminal history so I don’t see why he wouldn’t be able to rent?? I’m confused.

He's been there 5 months already. Tell him it's time for him to look for a permanent arrangement. If he's paying you rent, he can pay a landlord.

With a felony i think itll be hard for him to find an apt. He will have to look probably look for renting a house.... but with a conviction and limited work history that may be tough. Man this is a tough one because ur husband has every right not to want him there especially after getting out of jail.
