Asthma

I used to have asthma as a child and the doctors told me a long time ago that I didn’t have it anymore. Back in February I got really sick with a runny nose, low grade fever and a lot of congestion. Since then I’ve been having chest pain on and off for a few weeks now with it not getting better. I went to my doctor and he said my lungs sounded good but I feel stuff in there and I don’t know what to do. I’ve also had a hard time sleeping these past few days Anyone who’s had asthma as an adult? I really don’t know what to do for it and would rather not go to a doctors office right now.
