Question for Canadians - EI and Maternity leave
If I apply for EI because of loss of employment due to Covid-19, does this affect anything for when I apply for maternity leave within the next 12 months? Will I get approved for both? How do I qualify? I know I should call and speak with a representative but I heard wait times were incredibly long and I’m just wondering if I can get some sort of answer on here.
