Emergency Room Visits (US only)

I’ve noticed a lot of women who run to the ER to confirm a pregnancy or go to try and get an ultrasound before their doctor normally does one.

Or really people who run to the ER for any small reason (even if not related to pregnancy).

If this is you.... do you have insurance that makes the ER worth the visit? Do you not have a doctor so you have no other choice?

I’m genuinely curious because with my insurance it costs me $250 to walk through the door of the ER, so I honestly have to be close to death to go and spend that money.

(Although I have brought my son for fevers of 104+ because I’m not risking his life over money).
