Herpes?

Hi. I have genital herpes and so does my sexual partner. I was in contact with him when he had an active sore and I have noticed a blister-like sore on my tongue. I’m not sure if it is likely to be herpes too? Could it just be an ulcer? I’m really hoping it’s not herpes, and if anyone gets oral herpes inside the mouth would they mind letting me know if theirs looks similar?
