How are you doing this quarantine ?!

I don’t even know what fucking day were on all I know is I’m 37+3 weeks pregnant. And my 2 year old little boy is being an absolute NIGHT MARE! Yesterday he was great all day!! Today is tantrum city! AHGHHHA !!!! Told my mom she’s taking him for a good 3 days when this is all over! Someone send help SOS! I’m being kicked in my belly and screamed at in my ear y’all it’s gonna be a long one of time outs and crying fits 🤦🏼‍♀️ say a prayer 🙏🏻🙌🏻

We are trying to maintain some semblance of structure and routine.  We try to get out in our yard to get rid of some energy. We have quiet activity time, lunch at a certain time, nap/rest time following lunch.  I am at work twice a week for a couple of hours each time. My husband lets him help with some things on his honey-do list I keep adding to, it keeps them both busy.

Just be glad you’re still pregnant. I have a 6 week old and an almost 2 year old and I’m going absolutely insane. If you have the chance go outside as much as possible. I let my son run around the yard for hours to get his energy out and we do much better.

Praying for you mama!! It is soooo hard! It’s a hard transition without the pandemic added to it, to him mom can’t do as much as he thinks she can and then on top of that there is zero opportunity to socialize! I feel for you.
We have dance parties to get the funk out lol.
Some things that have helped me and my super strong willed 3y/o are sensory or learning activities, literally get a baking sheet and pour rice in it let him drive cars in it, scoop it, put it through a rolled up paper funnel, etc., we’ve frozen dinosaurs that he uses his hammer to try and break free, and other activities and now printable letter practice as he’s getting older. If you can go for walks and let him gather flowers, grass, leaves, etc just for fun to practice colors and textures and such. Run like kale on instagram has a lot of easy diy and usually stuff on hand activities for them to do, it helps a LOT to focus their little mind for a bit and give mama a break, with the few minutes of setting up!

Hang in there!! They don’t understand what is going on they just sense our frustration & they don’t get why they can’t see their friends & family! It’s tough! My 2.5yo is having some issues too, you’re not alone. I’m 27w pregnant. Just keep up with the good work & consistency & one day when this is all over you’ll just have a huge sigh of relief!
