baby girl name- what do you think?

my husband and i like short but unique names- not so unique that someone wouldn’t know how to say it, but unique enough that there wouldn’t be anyone with the same name in her class. so the name we like best so far is....
Maren James 
i picked the name Maren (pronounces MARE-en) for a girl 2 years ago. i didn’t even know Maren Morris was a person when i found this name 😂 i just feel like anytime i share the name with someone, they either think their opinion matters and tells me they don’t like it or they obviously pretend like that like it 😂
either way, we like it and don’t really care what other people think, since it’s our baby! but i just wanted some honest opinions. what do you guys think?

I love it! We had it on our list originally but found names we liked a little more. Also had no idea about Maren Morris. And I love it with James. I feel like James is getting more popular for girls now. But it’s cute and I love boy/unisex names.

I like Maren I don't like James for a girl unless of course that's the last name. Just my opinion. It's your baby girl!

I like Maren and I like James but I don’t like them together. 
I think Maren is feminine, but not feminine enough to feminize James. 
I had Merrit on a list, but hubby hates it and our last name begins with an M so it’s been permanently vetoed.
