Way to find out gender?

I got my results back fr the blood test negative for down syndrome but my midwife said they don't don't test to see the gender and she stated the next ultrasound is at 20-22 weeks so I won't find out the gender till then... Anyone know of a way to find out gender? I called my doctor for the secretary to ask if there is a test she can do

Yeah the NIPT is a blood test that tests for gender. It’s usually only done for high risk pregnancies unless you request it. It’s not usually covered my insurance either if your not high risk. 
Not sure if you have a Baby Connection or a third party company that specializes in determining gender and 3D ultrasounds near you, but they can usually do it as well.

This is what my doctor gave me at my 8 week appointment and told me to fill it out and bring it back. Maybe call and ask about the Harmony test?

There is. It’s a blood test to look at chromosomes just like Down’s syndrome. It’s usually not covered by insurance. You can go to www.invitae.com and request a test. Idk if they send something to your doc or what? My doc just uses them.
