Baby boom?

Will the baby boom really be that big in 9 months? We want to start TTC but I have to get my IUD removed. I worried my Dr. will pressure me not to start trying right now or look at me like I’m stupid because of all the stuff going on right now.

I doubt a doctor would even see you to get your IUD removed right now, that’s a non-emergency appointment and they aren’t typically doing those.

They most likely won’t take it out unless it’s time to. I had an appointment to get nexplanon and they called and asked if I needed one taken out and a new one put in, I said no I just want to switch from pills to the nexplanon. They said yeah you’ll have to wait until July we need to cancel your appointment😅 low key was really pissed🤣🤣

Honestly it might be hard to get an appointment to get your iud removed unless you’re at your date to, I would call and ask before making any plans. But I do think there will be a lot of babies being born; both planned and accidentally

Like others said, it’s unlikely they’ll have you in to remove it right now. My OB said she’s only doing emergency gyn appointments right now when phone triage won’t work. Only absolutely necessary appointments. Heck, they’re modifying regular OB schedules to fewer appointments and more online/phone appointments.
