Toxic relationship

I gained weight in my relationship but not much maybe 10lbs yet the person I'm with says he loves me but he wants me to lose weight in my stomach area. Now when he met me I didn't have a flat stomach at all in fact I had a belly. He tells me I would like to be attracted to the person that I'm with, that really hurt my feelings. I pretty much shut down and would not have sex with him or show any affection with him. He thinks I'm taking this thwnwrong way and that he didn't mean it like that. Did i take his stayement the wrong way? He also said if I love him I would lose weight, whi says this to someone they love?
